Owner and barbeque expert Don Kelley opened Three Pigs Bar-B-Q in the winter of 1998, with a vision of creating Gravois Mills ultimate barbeque experience. Don and wife Joan grew up coming to the Lake of the Ozarks, Gravois Arm area. Both had enjoyed eating at the local barbecue pit restaurant, which closed in the late 1970's. In 1995, Don and Joan moved to Gravois Mills from Kansas City. Don noticed there was no real barbecue to be found in the area, so he decided to open a restaurant.

Don and son Chris formulated their own original recipes for barbecue sauce and dry rub meat seasoning.  They developed tasty dishes and their unique barbecue beans. Don likes food hot and spicy so he formulated hot barbecue sauce and hot pickles. Don and his trained staff use an custom built commercial smoker to provide consistent, moist, quality smoked meats. His meaty, lean pork spare ribs are moist and juicy. His chicken has a great smoked flavor. The sliced beef, pork, ham, turkey meats are generous and piled high on a five inch bun. Don brings his love and passion to every dish he creates. 

 Before he created his first masterpiece, he vowed to only use the finest ingredients, and prepare each dish with an infusion of patience, passion and love. Critics have been raving ever since. Diners agree...Three Pig's Bar-B-Q is the Lake of the Ozark's best barbecue. Try our own creation, Three Pigs Dippin' Sauce on wings or as a dip for appetizer. Buy a bottle of our sauce and jar of our dippin' sauce for our great taste at home.

On September 25,10, our restaurant caught fire. At that time, we were the longest running, same owner restaurant from Versailles to Camdenton.  At this time, we have no operating restaurant. However, we are still available for off site catering functions. We have the concession trailer, and for a fee will come to various events.
